Looking forward to visiting Tunisia again soon. During my last stay, I innocently enquired, “Aren’t you due a revolution about now?”.
Will stick to promoting Art, Mindfulness and Wellbeing, rather than Magical Thinking in future!

With apologies to Arnold Wesker, I set off on Saturday morning to the London Buddhist Centre in Bethnal Green a-questing more about Mindfulness and Mental Health training.
The day-long session, with 5 colleagues and about 15 others was positive and constructive, consolidating and further my knowledge of the subject. MBCT and other psychodynamic Mindful approaches were explored, along with more meditations than I have ever tried in one day.
A snip @ £90 and recommended to all with an interest in Mindfulness.

Given the miserable weather conditions this morning, it’s hard to imagine that, only two days ago, the “Five ways to wellbeing” class was held outside on benches in glorious sunshine. The session went well, with active participation and generosity flowed.
One student showed photos of his art works, reminiscent of Billy Childish’s oeuvre, for which he was finding an outlet. Suggestions and encouragement spurred him further in his endeavours. His oil and acrylic abstracts were powerfully executed and well worth the £95 sought.
I recommended Galleries Online as a place to showcase and sell his work, having been approached by The Brick Lane Gallery after them seeing my works on that site.
There is a local Service-User led art project in the pipeline, in which I am involved, in which this artist’s work should be shown. More details as they become available …

Okay, “back on Blackberry” or “back in black” might have been more accurate as I need to tweak the theme for the site, but an announcement of any sort does need a catchy title and that seemed most appropriate.
For those who did not realise that I had been away, or even that I had been in the first place, I bid you welcome. For any who missed my musings, I apologise and will try harder to keep connected in future.
Being a bit of a polymath takes up time; I will be posting again about my adventures through mental health issues, art and technology: the subjects on which I have most experience and involvement. There will be bad jokes aplenty, so be warned.
